Format of Bexley results?

Hi all you fellow waiters for the results :?

I am wondering whether we will get the score and/or rank of the Bexley test results next week or just a pass/fail? We are in the OOC group hoping (probably in vain) for a top 180 score, but obviously if my son is not in that league I won't be putting Chis and Sid on our CAF.

Anyone have any knowledge or previous experience?

Hi, my daughter took the test in 2013 and you are given the score, just one figure not broken down in any way, the pass mark and whether or not your child was one of the Top 180.

That is very helpful, thanks. We should be able to plan based on that information.

Hi. My DS took the test in 2014. The overall score was broken down as follows:

Verbal Reasoning - which accounts for 50% of the overall mark
Non Verbal Reasoning - which accounts for 25% of the overall mark
Numerical Reasoning - which accounts for 25% of the overall mark

You will be given your childs scores in each of the 3 sections, and the overall score which determines if he/she passed or not.

All this information was provided to us in the results letter, as well as advising whether he was in the top 180 or not.

Hope this helps.

Depending on how far away you are you may still be ok for Chis & Sid. Last year the catchment was a bit smaller but in previous years they have gone a bit further out. My oldest DD has a lot of friends from Bromley and Orpington.

Good luck with the results all, I hope you all get the result you need!!
