Unfortunately, you would need a lot more information than that available, if all that is made public is the composite standardised score obtained by the DC of the individual posters on here.harish_sry wrote:Does anybody have a standardised score to raw score converter?
thanks

She has passed but not top 180. After that it is on distance. It depends where you live.dartford61 wrote:Can anyone please clarify me whether my daughter will get the admission with 238 score??
Congratulations to her (and you) she has done very well!

Yay, DD has passed, was 8 off a top 180 score but hopefully we will qualify on distance. Her strength in Verbal Reasoning and the weighting it is given did work in her favour, but she would have still passed but with not such a good score if not for the weighting. Was amazed to read that 5499 children sat the test. Very happy and so proud.

Good news, DS also did well but not on top 180. How is distance calculated for Bexley school? Straight line?

most are straight line but at least one is 'safe walking route' - it is all very clear in the admissions booklet on past distances and how they are calculated.theonly1 wrote:Good news, DS also did well but not on top 180. How is distance calculated for Bexley school? Straight line?

Congratulations all who got desired passes today and to you Merlinfromcamelot - great news and welcome post for perspective. (I just heard that a friend's mum has terminal cancer...there really are bigger things...)
Very happy that my son got 243 6pts from top 180. We're OCC so it comes down to distance now -- 3.4m from Bexley, 5.7m from Beths, 4.2m from C&S - at first i thought not a hope for BGS but Bexley admissions say it can vary widely year to year, so not to assume or rule anything out. So will wait with fingers crossed and bated breath... I'd be happy with any of them to be honest. As a single parent who went DIY (having come late to the 11+ party) it's a huge relief to be through. As someone else said - we dared to try! Very proud of DS who knuckled down and actually enjoyed this crazy journey...

Congratulations to everyone and the DCs for all the hard work they put in. DS also passed with 262. So we are in the top 180. Waiting now for the Kent and Olaves results next week.
Re: 215 is passmark - 249 is top 180
The only1, I had a look recently and distance is measured by the safest walking route. There seemed to be a few websites that calculate this though so not sure which one would be the best to use.
