DS mock test results

Hi all! I am new here but have used this forum frequently in recent months :-)

My son just sat a mock Bexley 11+ test.

Got his results today, he got 67% on his first test and 92% on his second paper.

Can anyway enlighten us as to what this actually means? Are the scores from both papers added together?
Would he had passed or failed with these results?

Thank you so much for anyone who replies!

Millsie x

Hi MissMilsie, was this mock at Hurst Rd? I think that you need to look at the percentage of children that scored over 90% if they give that detail. If it was the same one that ds took, then there were over 20% of the cohort that scored over that. That is not to take away from your childs achievement, but I questioned the quality of the question paper based on that as many of the children came out saying it was an 'easy' paper. In the real tests, I suspect the paper will have to be harder/more time pressured to capture the children on the higher end of the 'bell curve'.
