Entrance exam for year 6 September 2018-eltham college

Hi,
Would anyone please be able to guide me as to where I can find information with regards to the creative writing section for the entrance exam. My son will be in year 6, September 2018, will be sitting exams shortly.

I have looked on their website but can't see anything.

Any help will be appreciated

Look at past papers from Dulwich College, Alleyns and Sevenoaks as an idea of what to expect. There are many posts on creative writing on this forum, particularly in the English section which will apply to the Eltham exam. Eltham College isn't quite as competitive as some of the other schools above and there is a wider ability intake. Several children leave to go to grammar schools for year 7.

looking for my son to sit an entrance exam for eltham college to go into year 6 in sept 18. They have told me very little about the exam. Are the Dulwich College, Alleyns and Sevenoaks- for year 6? I.e. (not year 7)

You might get more traffic in the independent section?

there are few past paper for the 10+ because not many schools have a standard entry at this point - Eltham/DC/Alleyns all don't - but they do offer entrance at that age if they have a space and will test on a more ad hoc basis.

If you want sample papers, then City Boys, Trinity and Whitgift all have full tests at that age so will publish papers online.

But whether that tallies to what Eltham want - who knows?
