When is St Olave’s stage 1 result?

I read somewhere that I you get through the first stage due to the number of children there is a better chance of getting a place I March than the likes of Wilson. Also putting it down first if it is your first preference won’t effect the chance of getting into a grammar lower down on your preference list. The schools do not know your perference.

Is there another way for checking my DS's result - its just we have had issues with some of our post being delivered to neighbours in the past (who incidentally are out now ) !!!! I dont want to be in a place where the post is delivered but not received by us... cant remain in dark anymore- esp now that others have received the results!!!

It would be better if you wait till tomorrow and then you can contact the admission via Email, I don’t think they would reveal the information by phone but it is good to try.
I know the feeling but I did receive mine for my DS on a Saturday last year.

Would it be a 1st class or it can take longer?
If it is a 1class letter, is it suppose to arrive the same/next day or later?

Good luck, this is bringing back memories. Appreciate it is a different school but I knew DD’s Newstead letter would be posted first class as part of the SIF application included appending two first class stamps to the applicant form!

We received results by post today, our son is through to stage 2. A relief but we also now have to prepare for stage 2 more seriously!
