Do you have the sample questions from the website and the papers they sold on the Open Day? The format is exactly the same. The English I think is the decider so practice story continuation, analysing poetical devices etc.

Thank you grgygirl! Yes have read the sample paper carefully. It is not easy to find the similar level practice-papers. I am still searching amazon. Thanks again for your help!

The second round test insists on English writing in pen. For pencil would go for a straightforward HP pencil. Any suggestions on good pens for writing?

A couple of biros will be fine. Whatever your DC is used to writing with.

Try not to get too sucked into the details of this - your DC is not going to pass or not pass this exam because of the pen he used.
