We were offered CSGS and we are thrilled. BGS was our first choice and my emotions are just a bit mixed up if we have a chance at getting in from the wait list or should just start getting DS excited for CSGS.
It's a great problem and I am not complaining but I'd love to know how far out offers went please! (We're 2.9 which traditionally has been too far but I know they took in more children this year!) thanks!

That's a lot further than offer day last year so I guess I'll talk about csgs until I hear otherwise!

I phoned and BGS offered out 2.8 miles.
Now I am wondering if I should be expecting an offer from the waiting list as we are 2.9-4.1 depending on which measuring tool is used. 'Citing!

We are 1.6 miles away and got Bexley.

My son's friend got Chis & Sid from 5 miles away. He turned it down to go to fee paying Eltham. Which I just don't understand unless you have money to burn

straight line distance I'd say. You must have a great chance due to the bulge class

I know at least one child with a place at Bexley who has gone on the waiting list for the Dartford grammars so there is a small bit of hope for getting in on the waiting list. Good luck!
