Hi, Apologies if this is the wrong board. Has anyone any experience of waiting list movements for Coopers ? DD has her heart set on Coopers and it was her first choice but we have been offered a lower preference school. She's on the waiting list for Coopers and is No. 32 on the list. I'm not sure if I should keep her hopes of a Coopers offer alive or if I should instead be preparing her for the lower preference school. Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance!

I don’t know much about this school other than I went there aeons ago and some children in our street attend. I know they have a fair banding system, if you are 32 for the band that might be a big ask but if 32 overall it is a large intake and they do have movement so sounds very feasible to get a place. Some of the girls will take up places at Bullers as they come available, also some may be on waiting lists for grammars so the higher band often moves a fair bit if those allocated Coopers are also waiting on Grammar places etc.

Good luck.
