Based on previous years I'm expecting the letter will come next Saturday morning (12 Oct). Does anyone have any other information? Thanks!

I phoned the school yesterday and they said we would receive the result by 18th October latest.

Did they say if it would be a letter or email? I assumed letter because it always has been afaik but they did email test arrangements and candidate numbers this year. The Admissions Arrangements just say results will be 'sent' prior to application date.

I have to say the st Olaves process is very odd and frankly off putting! Why has it taken so long to mark the stage 1 test? Why is the second stage after submissions day? All the Sutton grammars appears to have had the second stage test already. Newstead wood process seems simple and people have a good idea of their position prior to the end of October. Having got through Bexley and having other options I think both my son and I have gone off it rather....maybe that’s their intention!!

the lady did say email which confused me a bit as I know previous results have been sent by post. I actually asked again and she responded again that it would be sent by email. We'll see.

Brilliant, thanks very much. Saves angsty post watching! I do agree the Olave's process is annoying. They also never give scores.

Got the email! He is through to SET 2 so we're very happy. 451 boys will be sitting it apparently.
