Chislehurst and Sidcup journey from Orpington

Hi, we have just heard my son just got a place at Chislehurst and Sidcup. We live in Orpington so he will get a 51 bus from Orpington Station to the school. Anyone else's child going to be taking a similar journey so that they can perhaps travel together? Thanks in advance :)
