I have sent a query about scribble work on question paper to Newsteadwood .Following is the answer.

There is to be absolutely no writing on the question papers. Scrap paper is provided for students so that they can do any working out there. Any child found writing on the question paper will be asked to immediately rub out any marks they have made on the paper even if this means they are using up their exam time. This rule will be strictly applied.
