My son scored 233 and we are OOC. Does anyone has a clue whether we have a chance for C&S or BETHS?
Thank you! I'm really nervous.

Anyone knows catchment distances for BETHS?

It goes on distance now not score if not in top 180. How far are you in a straight line from C&S? They went out 5 miles last year and 9.4 miles the year before so we won't know until offer day if you're close enough. Any more than that though and it'll be unlikely. 3 years before that it was 4, 5 and 4.4 miles. Good luck.

My son passed and we're hoping to get into c&s. 3.1 miles away so fingers crossed.

Well done everyone x

Stress Dad that score is not a scrape through it is a clear pass. I was so stressed I got no sleep and was stressed last nights It is a true scrape through pass here and I can elbow bump you ..

I now just hope distance works out.

I wouldn't have thought it would reduce the distance offered since actually less children passed this year (1977) than previous years.
Last year 2027 children passed and 2018, 2200 passed so there should actually be less competition for spaces if anything. It's just a higher percentage as less children (5760) sat the test this year than in previous years (6424 in 2019).

Last year Townley went to 5.8 miles
2019 was 6.6
2018 was 6
2017 was 9.7
2016 all selective applicants were offered.
There's a table in the selection test booklet with distance of last offer for all Bexley schools, including grammars, for last 5yrs on the Bexley. Gov website.
Good luck.
