As said above please do follow the tips in the link provided and you may find you get more answers if you post on the Kent page of the forum.

Aside from that I would be surprised if you found anyone from Tonbrdge considering a school in Wallington it's a 30 mile journey via the A21 and M25. Public transport would appear to involve 3 trains. Both journeys are a big ask twice a day for 7 years.

Especially as Tonbridge has Judd and Skinners' on the doorstep, and TWGSB too; you have more chance of finding others looking to do the same awkward journey if you're in a non-grammar area. Wilson is a great school but is it your top option?

When your DS is actually allocated Wilsons in March (assuming that you placed the school above any others for which he qualifies and that his score for Wilsons assures him of a place?), you could try asking the admissions officer / office manager or whoever at Wilsons to pass your details on to all those whose DSs travel in from Tonbridge and ask them to contact you.

If you have decided that despite the distance, this is the best school for your DS, presumably you have also researched his route on public transport, in the event that there is no-one making the same journey and willing to share? Plenty of time between March and September to send him off on practice runs. If buses are involved and more particularly, request stops, we found that our DC were initially a bit backward in coming forward, so to speak, when it comes to signalling to the driver that they want to get on, but after the first bus (or two) had sailed on past, the penny did drop.
