Can't tell you figures but I do know that some children have been offered the grammar stream at Erith instead of a grammar school as they are all full.

Well, I can't make that out as the boys I've been hearing about are north of the Bexley borough. But I would have thought they would have been able to get into Beths. Obviously not.

It makes no difference which borough you are in. Apart from siblings and those that score in the top 180 it goes by distance (measured along the shortest route, not as the crow flies). Many of the Bexley grammars are fairly close to Greenwich and Bromley and so children get in from there rather than north of Bexley Borough which is further away.
