WJEC Eng Lit (Merchant of Venice and poetry anthology) was 'fine'
Edexel Geography 1 was 'not good'

I foresee an evening of Physics stressing for AQA Physics 1 tomorrow afternoon.

AQA geography was 'rubbish' with nearly the whole class not knowing one particular 6 mark question

English was 'okay', but 'no idea' about Geography.
Taking rest now and then Physics revision.

Same in this household too .... DCs least favourite science subject.

Take heart that although physics may not be their favourite, they frequently do better on it than they expect and sometimes better than their "favourite" biology. It is a lot of maths these days. Analysing graphs, inputting figures into equations etc.
Good luck everyone. Nearly time for the half term breather.

DS said both English and Geography were good today. The only issue was almost running out of time on both as he could have written more but overall thinks both went well. Physics tomorrow afternoon - his favourite subject so hoping to do well as wants to study it at Higher level (IB) next year and possibly do engineering at university.

DS was Edexcel English - felt the LotF question was very fair and could be answered from a number of different angles. Thought specific Q on R&J was a little narrow but general question was good. Geog also good with preferred case study coming up. 3 more this week and then a bit of breathing space - although school are offering a number of intervention sessions over half term - including Spanish, luckily, which he hasn't looked at since his Oral!

Huge relief here that today is over :D DD thought her P&P and Much Ado questions were quite straight forward so guess they will be high boundaries... she even managed to finish Geography (just) so that was a first.... Physics revision not going well however
