Re: Good Luck tomorrow!
Well done to DS Herman for these great results. I can never convincingly hide already knowing something from my DCs - so good luck with that
Hope it's big smiles all round for everyone else too.

Reappeared and managed to look suitably stunned! He also brought home the FSMQ which he got an A in (much to his delight...)..
Plan for the day -
1 Update Facebook to ensure cousin (who did some irritating boasting last year) knows that he has beaten him in two of the exams.
2 off on a jolly to watch ... ahem... Toy Story
3 September..... AS levels

Well done Master Herman.
DS also did well - 7A*s and 3As - not bad for someone who got in on appeal eh? Shows it is worth the anguish if you truly believe they are capable.
Off to celebrate

I have a sad DD - she got 1A*, 1A, 7Bs and 4Cs.
She didn't need telling by OH that it served her right as she did no work
I'm hoping she will be like me - shockingly bad results, went on to get As at A level. The shock did me good in the end.

Wonder woman,
That is good results. Its a shame that in the world where everyone gets A*s now, a C grade is looked upon as not good. She passed and well done to her.
Congrats to everyone else too.

Re: Good Luck tomorrow!
agreed - the results today make my 4As 4Bs and a C (ahem Latin) in 1975 look positively awful - but it was plenty to get into medical school etc.
wonderwoman, I am sure your daughter will do as her mum did and show how well she can do at A level!
