I know it wont be of much help right now but going forward it will be possible to explain to Universities the circumstances under which your DD sat her exams. I realise that isnt the same as having the marks reflect her circumstances but it might mitigate the impact of any grades that are lower than she would be otherwise be capable of acheiving.

Thank you KB, that is good to know. As I said it just seems so unfair as she will definitely not achieve what she is capable of, but as Y said actually it would be so easy for her to give up completely under the circumstances (has been near to doing so several times) so I am proud of every day she manages to go to school and just very upset for her when she doesn't manage as she is suffering so badly. Life can be very cruel, and I know others have it even harder so please appreciate what you have if everything is going well for you and yours. Thanks again for responses.
