How many GCSE's?

Modular is finishing this summer (or November - I know there is a final Edexcel Maths Unit 3 this November, haven't checked any others). My dd2 is in y10 like Minesatea's ds and she is doing Maths this year as a modular gcse, and everything else will be linear next year.

DD's school have switched to the new 'IGCSEs' for many courses to avoid the endless and disruptive controlled assessment. She has no modular courses and will still take 12 next year.

However, courses such as PE, music, drama have practical elements and this means that only a percentage has to be taken in May/June.
