One Oral exam already done, another next week.
I think it helps that some already done in the form of coursework.
Spanish 60% (Oral and Written)
Drama 60%
History,Business and 3 sciences all 25%

Wishing everyone's DC all the best for the exams.

Just the one GCSE for ds2 this summer - maths which his set at school is doing early. He seems fine at the moment, working well but then it is only the one subject, but then again he is still only 14 and won't turn 15 until after its all over :?

Hey ho, good practice for next year I suppose and we will be able to see how he copes with the public exams and very bad hay fever combo

Good luck to all your dc's for the next few weeks.

Are these iGCSEs? Most boards don't start this week.

Doodles - why on earth are the school doing Maths early? It is the first year of the new GCSE specification and I would have thought that this was particularly risky?

These three subjects are Cambridge ( CIE) IGCSEs. DS is doing some Cambridge IGCSEs and also some AQA and Edexcel GCSEs.

At our end, its 15th May for the written exams start. All coursework's and language speaking done!

Set 1 maths DC take Maths exam a year early ie. in year 10 itself. DC school have been doing this for a long time now.

Year 11 students take Stats and Further Maths in year 11.
