Are the sciences being studied as separate Sciences or as Core, Additional and Further Additional?

Hi Guest55,

thanks for the replies,

I am not sure. he has taken triple science so I guess he will be doing 3 papers and controlled assessment. Now, i need to know if B1/C1/P1 he will do this year or all 3 together with B2/C2/P2 and B3/C3?p3 in one go in year 2017.

thanks

topsyturvy - you either do all 9 in Year 11 and get separate GCSEs or schools can do triple as Core, Additional and Further Additional with some exams taken in Year 10. What did the options booklet say?

The exam entries would be in by now and your child shoud have had the dates of exams if they were being taken this year.

Thanks Guest55

I think you are right and he has them all together in year 11 (ie.2017). So, will he like have 3 different papers for each subject next year. I wish I had asked these questions on parent's evening.

So confusing....

Best regards!

How do you revise for French IGCSE CIE?

Are there any revision books or tips that one could follow?

It's just dawned on me that DS has only 3 weeks until his mock GCSE oral languages exams and 8 weeks until his written mocks. He spent much of half term writing revision notes; I'm trying not to panic. Parents' evening coming soon, will see what they say...

DS's mocks start on the 28th November with French Reading and Writing. The Oral exam is in December.

DS has just finished his mocks, waiting for the results now and biting my nails. How have everyone's mocks gone in general?
