DS finished last Friday , 4Th. He prefers revising at home in his own way.
He's worried about English Lit, in particular An Inspector Calls and knowing 'moments'
Any advice on how this can be tackled would be appreciated.

Which board is he doing and has he watched the film?

Try drawing a stick man of each character as there are not many and draw thought bubbles from their head summarising their stance in the play. Mr and Mrs Birling do not change but the play ends with hope that the younger generation will change and be different. Change and lack of it is a key theme in the play. Sheila is the character that there is most to say about as she does embrace change. The historical references are also important such as the Titanic.

If there is a character question you can hedge your bets by looking at which one has come up in recent years. It will not be the same one as last year.

You can help him by getting him to describe each character to you and their role in the play.

The setting description is also key. Read the summaries at the start of each act very carefully. We went to see two different productions and watched the dvd several times and it really helped DG
