Good because that is all we will have left soon. And parsnips, I gather. If you like long, warty, pale things.

Never tried that. Nor roast ham. Pink and wobbly is almost as bad as pale and warty.

Sorry.
Blimey. It's all gone a bit Carry On Eleven Plus
Well that is a good old British institution too. Come March we can all sit in front of our goggle boxes watching British TV, with British Spam because that is all we will have left in our cupboards so I will be looking forward to some good ole British Beef if there is any available. All we need is an outbreak of BSE.

Going back to the volunteering - ASDAN is favoured by middle class parents because it is the one scheme that has UMS points attributed to it - but completely worthless for Medicine applications - do the volunteering and, as others have said the co-ordinatir references will be worth more than any certificate. My son did get awarded the Gold Lions Award for his volunteering - this was unexpected and, whilst lovely to have, was really just acknowledging what he had already done.

Good to hear that ASDAN too is pointless. Chatted to DD about it all this evening and luckily she seems to be of the same view so Sweden is back on and volunteering continues as before.

Until today I’d never even heard of ASDAN. DD has just looked at me blankly when I asked her.

There are too mane-y lion puns, so I'll paws there and maintain my pride.

There was an urge to moderate that. it’s just so appallingly bad
