Fantastic!!!! Fingers crossed x

I am super nervous for DS's interview on the 6th but he assures me he is less worried now he has a firm offer at Queen Mary.

Keep updating with how DD gets on at her interview :D

Oxford interview - Brasenose law.
Very excited DD.
She'll be glad she got this far - has 3 Russell group offers so has done best she can do.

I read this thread with a feeling of dread. In this house the gcse hurdle still has to be jumped, but DD has already set her heart on Cambridge.

I hope all of Your children's dreams come true. Fingers crossed for you.

I know moved, but at least you'll have "friends" here will have trodden the path before, and will share their experiences with you x :D
My DD spent hours writing a plan for reading last night, her interview in less than 2 weeks so she prioritising, I'm very proud of her.
Hopefully all her debating and public speaking internationally will help her now, giving her confidence to speak on the hoof..........
Good luck all DC.

Have been away for a few days but see Jemima has joined us! Well done to your DD!!!!

We had parents evening last night and the teachers make it all sound so easy.... DS will get his A*AA, and hopefully exceed that prediction with a clean sweep of A*'s (I am not at all convinced!), he just needs to sit the exams

If all things in life were that straighforward it would be fab :?

Daughters dream is over. No interview for Oxford though she has other interviews lined up. She has taken it better than I thought. Well done the rest of you and good luck.

West Kent, I am sorry to hear that, especially as I remember you saying it was her strong preference. If any consolation, 2 of DD's extremely bright friends also missed out on Oxford interviews. Cambridge interview much wider pool of applicants, so once a DC has an Oxford interview you're statistically more likely to get a place....

So, what now for miss west Kent? :?

Will she take a year out to rethink? Or go to more visits etc to see whether she falls in love with another course?

My DD finally managed to get another more formal mock interview sorted with a deputy head at my year 7's new GS. How very kind of him to offer..... :D

Good luck all, and best wishes to you and little west Kent x
