The above link may give you some information, on how highly valued the IB appears to be. Certainly makes very interesting reading, as our local Comp is the only one in our borough that offers this att.

You might like to post this question on the Kent thread and the Independent Schools thread. Some of the grammars in Kent offer it, as does Sevenoaks public school.

I know one parent whose daughter has just completed the International Bacc in the 6th form at Sevenoaks who loved it. I think it was one of their reasons for choosing the school as they felt the breadth would suit their daughter.
