A level contigency day 2019

Post by Guest55 »

I hope your child's school has made you aware of this:

https://www.jcq.org.uk/Exams-Office/Calendar/2019/6" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"A contingency date is a day specifically set aside, should sustained national or local disruption arise during the June 2019 examination series. If disruption happens, the GCSE and/or GCE (A Level) examinations would be taken either for the first time or again on that day."

All students need to be available should an exam have to be delayed.

Gosh, some students may have been planning to be on holiday abroad by then. That is a very late date. DG

It has to be after all the exams or there would be a clash. I've posted this to alert people if they are planning a holiday.

Thank you, we have heard nothing from school. I bet many are planning a quick getaway/festivals etc.
