Mock a levels
When are mock a levels usually taken?

It will vary from school to school. Some will do them just after Christmas, others will wait until much closer to the real thing. It may already be on your school's on line calendar?

Re: Mock a levels
Our school does Y12 Mocks early in the summer term and then Y13 Mocks after Christmas. This gives a big wake up call if people are not on track - if students do badly in the Y12 Mocks, they have to resit in early September. It means that students are revising as they go along which means that it should, in theory, not be such a huge amount to learn in one go.

Don't they have any more 'formative' exams before the real thing?Daogroupie wrote:For dds it was late June of Y12 after the A levels finished. DG
