Asking this for a friend's daughter as I don't know anything about EPQ's.

Lovely girl who works really hard and was predicted an A in her EPQ - she was told she was well within the A grade boundary. She has just got the results and is devastated that she got a C.

My questions are is it possible to get an EPQ remarked, if so what is the process and the timetable?

I think that the EPQ is marked within the school and then moderated? I found these comments from AQA after someone made an FOI enquiry

Quote:
A remark is not applicable to a piece of work that has been moderated,
therefore a single candidate cannot request a remark for his or her work
alone. The option available in this case would be a remoderation, though
this has to be agreed between the school and the exam board as the entire
cohort would be subject to having their work remoderated.

However someone had some success:

(this was one that was marked as A* then moderated down to D  - whole group had to be re-moderated)
