Dear All,
Could someone tell me the possible areas one can work after finishing this course?
How does it differ from the normal 'Medicine course' where someone trains to be a doctor?

looks like it is for people interested in a career in the field of medicine but not as a doctor.

Just to clarify, a number of Universities run Clinical Sciences 1 year foundation courses where a proportion of top performing students will be given entry into the 5 year medicine degree course. Bradford Univ runs such a course

and 20 students are guaranteed a place each year in Medicine at Leeds

I think quite a few people do medical science degrees or biomed science with a view to doing medicine as a graduate or transferring over at some point. Not sure how easy the transfer is - Ken has pointed out the Bradford foundation course which is highly specific in its aims:

The course is designed for able students from those areas currently underrepresented in the National Health Service and is supported by a comprehensive `Outreach Strategy¿ which is predominantly focused on West Yorkshire. - so local kids ...

Some graduate medical courses require you to have done a science type degree but others don't - shame that so many do require it as medicine is not all science and benefits hugely from people who have other interests and knowledge (degree in business management might be handy these days ... )
