6. Pizza (1 kg flour- make into dough – split in 4 and freeze – make 4 pizzas from each piece of dough)

10. Burgers (1/3 porridge + ½ jar chutney + raw onion)
11. Chicken with honey and lemon
12. Roast (leg of lamb + roast potatoes
13. Spare ribs
14. Fried chicken a la Sally-Anne
15. Baked fish in greased foil a la Sally-Anne
16. White sauce from a roux - with cheese for macaroni cheese or tuna for pasta bake and with herbs for hiding the taste of fish.
17. Flapjacks (despite the many recipes posted on the forum, I’ve always just stuck with the v. simple version on the back of Scxtts Porage Oats boxes, and they get rave reviews from our school cake stalls. http://www.scottsporage.co.uk/oat-cuisi ... flapjacks/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
18. Beans or cheese on wholemeal toast
Cookbook Notes
As I said, my plan is to teach my DD my recipes myself throughout her secondary years rather than use a cook book. However having read the various posts, I’ll buy my DD a Sam Stern book when she’s getting towards the end of secondary, and avoid Annabel Karmel like the plague!
