How to calculate ucas points for university entrance?

only some universities offer places based on a tariff of UCAS points
they are basically calculated on the A2s :

Other things on the link above eg EPQ (70 pts for A*) or FSMQ
really depends what the university is looking for - they may also count AS where the student doesn't go on to do the A2

Some will count points for music exams grade 6 and above but very few give offers on UCAS points.

I believe gold Duke of Edinburgh counts too, but as G55 said very few universities make offers on points, most offer grades at A2/IB/pre-U.

I know of one course (Medicine at Bart's) where predicted/ achieved UCAS tariff score, however achieved, is a big factor in deciding who makes it to interview. Apparently 4 A levels at A grade or equivalent tariff points is pretty much the minimum needed.
