Discover EU Free Inter-railing tickets

If your DD or DS turns 18 years before 1st July they can apply to be in the draw for a free inter-railing ticket as a 18th birthday gift from the EU (regardless of Brexit!).
"Almost 30 000 young people were awarded a travel pass in 2018. Another round will take place from 2 May 2019 at 12:00 (CEST) to 16 May 2019 at 12:00 (CEST).
To be eligible, you need to be born between 2 July 2000 (included) and 1 July 2001 (included), have the nationality of one of the Member States of the European Union at the time of the award decision, and fill in the correct ID or passport number on the online application form.All you have to do is to participate in a quiz and answer a subsidiary question. If you are selected, you can travel for a period of minimum 1 day and up to 30 days between 1 August and 31 January 2020."
My DD won a ticket for this summer back in December and the next round of tickets are being allocated soon. I loved Inter-railing as a university student so was keen for her to enter... well who doesn't love something for free!
