anybody know St Aubyn's school in woodford green,Please help

Post by lz »

I will move to redbridge soon. And I just found out there is no year 4 place available in nearby state primary schools. (also no place in bancroft's and forest school) Does anybody know St Aubyn's could kindly help me? how good is it? is it worth the money? (about£8300 a year)

Thank you very much!

The head is no good,(my personal opinion) my son went there, they do not really coach for 11plus, because your child can stay there till age 13, withdrew my dd, due to high turnover of teachers. Good facilities, but not particularly academic. My neighbour also withdrew her 3 kids, due to same reasons.

11+ preparation may not be top of the agenda at St Aubyns but looking at the number of offers they gained this year for entry to other independents schools (at age 11) seems to indicate significant success. Not bad for a non-selective prep school.
