Woodford county high

Post by Biya »

Hi
What's your opinion/experience of the school? Does it provide well rounded education? I for some reason have a view that it is all only about the grades? No pastoral care, music, drama etc? Plz correct me.
Then there is the secondary matter of passing the exam as well .
Thanks

My DD joined WCHS in 2011 and is loving every minute of it. The school does lay emphasis on achievements, however they are fully involved in music, sports etc. My daughter is into sports and she gets to compete with other schools. A lot of people say different things and people would have their opinion about any school.

I would suggest you visit the school and attend the open days, you would then be able to make an informed decision whether it is the right place for your DD. All the best for the exams to your DD.

Two of my ex-pupils are at Woodford; both have settled well and enjoy the school. Not sure whether they have needed any particular care or not, though.
