This is the information for kids who sat the test in 2011 for entry in 2012:

Number of kids who took part:

*787 boys
*727 girls

Successful scores:

*Boys: 281 - 226
*Girls: 274 - 226 (4.116 miles) [I don't know what the bit about the miles means, does anyone know?]

Thanks for the detailed info. Rainbow Petals :D .

(Well Done to all the successful DCs - & the DPs supporting them!)

With regard to the 4.116 miles, AFAIK, that is the furthest distance away (from the Grammar Schools) of any of the successful 11+ sitters.

When the last 2 kids have the same score, the last place is allocated to the child who is nearest the school. This is the case here and the distance being 4.116 miles

*Phew* that's good to hear because we live much further than 4 miles from our nearest grammar school.
