Hi,

My DD is in year 5 now. We want her to sit both CEM and CSSE. I am a newbie to this. How do these test differ? I am quite familiar with CEM and we have been doing CEM style questions. However, we are not doing any extra prep for CSSE. Would I need to prep her differently for CSSE? Also, which is harder?

CEM is multiple choice and each section comes with its own timing.

CSSE is 2 papers. 1 maths and 1 English. English also has good old creative writing. I am sure others will help you further as we took a last minute decision to sit the CSSE exam. I think each exam comes with its difficulties!
