Redbridge has released stats for the 11 plus test for 2020 entry. It looks like total candidates for Woodford county (1121) has dropped considerably as compared to 2019 (Which was 1317).
Number of out of CCA candidates has gone down by only 40, but number of candidates from Redbridge borough has gone down by 100+.
What could be the reason for such a sharp drop? Has anything changed w.r.t admission policy? any other insights / views?

2007 and 2008 were very strong birth years, so perhaps that? I remember not being able to get my daughter into a nursery due to there not being enough spaces and also all our primaries had to open extra classes. It eased off after that, so most likely it shows on the amount of candidates as well.
