Hi all

I am new to the forum and would like to know more about AE tuition please any advice? :)

I understand that it "drills" the children and gives them lots of practice material.
The children have many copies of worksheets, are tested weekly when they attend the classes, and some respond well to this, others less so. They have to keep performing and "pass an aptitute test" to start the tuition ( which helps improve the chances of success as they only admit the the higher end achievers of year 4/ 5)
Some of my DD1's cohort at school used them. Some of them passed. It's hard to know how effective it was, but they certainly get given a lot of practice material (which parents gave to mark and explain with them.)
