Can anyone help? We currently live in Sunbury but will be moving to Bucks next year . I need a tutor now who knows the Bucks exam but could tutor my son here in Sunbury Middlesex.
I would be grateful for any suggestions.

I'm afraid I can't help with a recommendation as I'm not in the South-East but have you thought about DIY tuition, at least until your move?

There are so many great resources to available to buy out there and I have found the advice on this site invaluable. Patricia in particular seems to know all there is to know about the Bucks test.

I won't find out until March whether my son has passed the 11+ however the unexpected bonus for me, apart from the obvious financial one, was the effect on the relationship with my son. I found working towards a goal together really helped form a closer bond between us. I hope that this remains whatever the outcome in March.

However, I don't think I would have been brave enough to tutor him myself if he had any particular difficulties with his schoolwork, as I would have felt the need for specialist help.

Good luck if you decide to go ahead.

Thankyou for taking the time to write to me. I will have to start the process myself .(Planning to start after Christmas). I have sent for some papers. However I am sure that a tutor will achieve a better level of concentration from my son .
I will keep trying!
