My son is currently receiving private 11+ tutoring in Warwickshire. Due to work we are moving county to Buckinghamshire and we have just secured a house in Amersham. I appreciate that the time is not good (my son is due to take his 11+ in September), however, I am trying to identify a 11+ tutor to tutor him from now until sitting the 11+. My son is really keen to take the 11+ and I do not want to the house move to prevent him from being prepared. Would be great if I could have some recommendations. Thank you.

Genuine recommendations by PM only (private message) are acceptable - but beware of the possibility that someone who appears to be offering a recommendation may have a vested interest! Please let us know if you think anyone is abusing the system by soliciting for business or 'spamming'.
It's easy to report a possible problem: just click on the red exclamation mark that appears with every post and PM: Image

Always treat recommendations from unknown persons with caution. However, there are many long standing members (check the date of joining and number of posts) who make a valuable contribution to the forum. If you receive a recommendation from one of them, it could be worth considering seriously (while still exercising a degree of caution).

If you receive a recommendation from anyone else, please exercise extreme caution!

Please be aware that your son will not be eligible for a place at Dr Challoners Grammar School because their Admissions Policy requires you to be resident from April 1st of the year preceding admission. In your case that would have been 1st April 2013.

He should have no difficulty gaining a place at Chesham Grammar School, subject to qualification, of course.
