Train to Birmingham New Street and then the cross city line out towards Lichfield - trains are around every 10 minutes at peak times. Get off at Aston and then a 10 minute walk.

Think that is probably the quickest and easiest dependent on where in Coventry you are coming from.

My son had a friend who used to travel from Balsall Common to KE Aston. He's now at Uni...but he used to take the train there, changing at New Street I believe.
