Just read your initial post again and realised you wanted words actually used in CEM tests. My words were just ones I've come across in the CEM style practice papers I've been doing with my DD in preparation for Warwickshire 11+.

My Son is taking test at Heckmondwike grammar School in West Yorkshire.
They have introduced CEM for the 1st time.

I have read all recommendations on this website,which are very helpful.
We are struggling with jumbled words which need to be arranged to make sensible sentence with one word left as an extra.

also appreciate if there is a list of antonyms.

I was recommended to buy Mary Farquhars set of cards which contain Antonyms and Synonyms. They are quite dear though as you can only buy them as one of a set of four packs of various vocabulary sets and cost about £40 for the lot. They are ok tho as they contain child friendly definitions.

We just printed this list out, along with some from books. I'm not sure I'd part with £40 for cards!

We sometimes act out definitions. E.g. Show me 'alert'. Not possible for all, but fun trying.

Help please.

I want to make up some cards with these words (and another vocabulary list on here somewhere) but I'm a bit IT challenged.

So, first, anyone done this before, probably in Word, and can send me a template. If not, any hints on how a set up a layout (something like business card size) to easily enter the words and then print.
