Does CEM Non VR include codes & cube nets?

Post by Octsmum »

Hi

Does CEM Non VR include codes & cube nets & 3D shapes? If it does - which books are good for practising these? We've been using CGP which doesn't appear to have many of these in there.

We're in Gloucestershire if that makes any difference!

Thanks for your replies.

I think it was mentioned in another post(cem page) that cube nets appear very
Rarely in cem nvr. So it's my understanding that it's not worth spending a lot of time over.
I could be wrong though.,hopefully the oracles in
This group come back to you with their fabulous responses.

Thank you Bluesymum, that's my understanding too. This is our first (and last time) doing the 11+ so just wanted to check with others more in the know than I am!

DD did Bexley (CEM) and Kent (GL), cubes and nets were only in the latter.

Codes have not been seen in the CEM 11 Plus. Cube nets have but not in either Slough or Buckinghamshire. While they have in Birmingham, they do not seem to be common.

You'll find that cube nets were in the Slough exams in the September 2015.

They were not in the exam for last year.

Miss them at your peril.
