DAO prep for exam
Hi, I am just beginning prep for DAO exam in 2019. I know emphasis is on English. Any good books to start preparing? Anyone know a good tutor in Welwyn Garden?

We just sat the exam and I’d recommend this:
- make sure your child is top in the CEM Verbal reasoning method they use, being in the top 325(?) will be the door opener to get the rest of the papers marked.
- this year, it was 25 points for Comprehension and 25 points for creatuve writing
- we worked through the bond comprehension books which I found ok, but not mind blowing
- we also did Bond Books maths prep
You may have come across someone on this forum called DAOgroupie who knows lots about the school.

We also used CGP and Letts for CEM verbal reasoning. My DD found Letts the hardest.
