Does anyone happen to know whether the school tells you specifically if your child is one of the allotted music places? Or do you just get the same letter as other "successful" students? (I appreciate it may not be the same from year to year, but wondered whether people have experience of previous practice.)

We have friends whose DC was invited for an audition last year, following which they received a letter telling them that dc had a music place and was guaranteed a place if they applied.
That's the only example I know though.
