QE boys today

There was a long queue to get in !
Any idea on number of applications this year ?

Every year some boys simply collapse under the strain, experiencing complete block, crying or vomiting. I think their emotions are not helped by the sheer number of parents and children around the school gates. Still, I expect the number of candidates will only be around 2000-2400, rather than the 4000+ figure that'll no doubt buzz around cyberspace for a few days.

BTW, I hope the exam went well for your DS and all the boys who gave it their best today. No details of course!

Doubt it was that high. Never is as high as hyped on this forum. Good luck to all who sat and they managed to do their best.

They expected 1300 boys for the first round and another 1300 for the second this afternoon. This s is what I have been told by a member of the staff while we were waiting for DS. Not sure how many will do the test on 26 September. I really hope not too many!

3200 impossible. It looked lesser than previous years today. We are use to these stories.

No feedback until after the backup date which is next Tuesday.

They use the same papers so any discussion of those papers will give those sitters an unfair advantage. There will be parents reading these threads hoping that somebody will give something away that will benefit their ds. DG

Good point however just checking how the kids have been finding the maths and English tests not to reveal questions ?
