Morning All, new to this forum, my second daughter went to St Mike’s & like you, I remain on tenter hooks over the fate of my third & last- hopefully we will find out tomorrow, it’s a killer... my daughter thought the verbal was v difficult so not getting my hopes up- I am praying that the creative element is marked in- house rather than shuffled off to distant examiners... we will soon find out....Best of Luck to all - it’s only one more day now, hopefully...

I don't know of any school that outsources their standard format English.

The teachers want to be able to see the strength of the candidates for themselves.

It is one of the main reasons why NLCS, City and St Albans all left the North London Consortium; they were having to take candidates where the papers had been marked elsewhere. DG

Hi there, thanks for that insight, I wouldn’t want to rely wholly on GL, their comprehension passages in 11 + practice papers were dreadful in my opinion...thankfully they didn’t get tested on comprehension - for that reason possibly... would love to have seen exam- so frustrating as a parent not to see exam at all but that’s the way of it I suppose...

Today MUST be the day.. If they posted late Monday and second class, they should still all be dropping in doors today..
Good luck to all!

The waiting is over. I have position 45 and position 139
Goodluck everyone. Two positions we may be giving up as I cannot risk only one twin getting in
