Goodluck everyone. Two positions we may be giving up as I cannot risk only one twin getting in

Well done to the girls ! Both of them
Have done well!

Does the letter say up what number they arrived this year to take? I think must have been to 139 , which means you have chances for both... even if the wait for 139 will go to 5th September 2019....xx

I think you have chances looking at the last 2 years trend. But you need to be resilient and wait. Also find a good back up to get it in offer day , but put SM first. Good luck dear xx

Pushy Mum - I see your predicament.. Bandhan (?) On the Latymer thread has the same issue.. Risk one getting in (assured in both cases) but being marginal for the other who may end up in a different school. You might decide to put both in that other school straight away so as not to risk that. That's a tough decision..

Edited to add: well done to both!! An easy call to "chance it" if you have an only, but your situation is a tough one.

Results seem to be of a very high standard , DD had great individual results but unfortunately not in the top 1/3 .

Betterdays - I'm very sorry to hear that.

I agree with you - some very high standardised scores to get through. I wonder if they were standardised against a wider GL cohort than just St Michael's entrants.

My niece’s scores were in mid to late 125-129 and too far down for realistic chance of place. They must all be 130 plus. Seems really high. We didn’t get these scores last year so can’t compare.

Last year I requested a breakdown of my dds scores. Although she had a couple of high scores, her average across all 4 papers was 116. She got an offer albeit from waitlist. The English paper seemed to be the issue and 2 of her friends also scored very low on this one including a friend who had a couple of 140 scores and got straight in.

I really do feel for those girls who achieved such great results but a low ranking.
