Re: Latymer announced Admissions arrangements for Sep 2019
interesting - their website says they will post no later than 15th March....tiffinboys wrote:Today is the last day for the schools to determine their admissions arrangements and put it on their website.
[edited to add] I can't see where the SAC states it has to be tho.... I can only see 6 weeks for consultation ending by 31st Jan?

It's definitely 15th March for primary schools. I actually thought that it was earlier for secondary schools, too, though.exam2019 wrote:interesting - their website says they will post no later than 15th March....tiffinboys wrote:Today is the last day for the schools to determine their admissions arrangements and put it on their website.

Eta, I was wrong. From the Admissions Code:
,
Example timetable

arrangements. Consultation must last a minimum of 6
weeks.

co-ordinated scheme for state funded schools in their
area, including any new school or Academy which is
expected to open.
31 January 2016
Deadline for the completion of the consultation on
proposed admission arrangements.
28 February 2016
Deadline for admission arrangements to be determined
even if they have not changed from the previous year and a consultation has not been required.
After which the Secretary of State may impose a co-
ordinated scheme if local agreement has not beensecured by this date.
15 March 2016
Deadline for admission authorities to send a copy of their full determined admission arrangements to their local authority.
15 March 2016
Deadline for local authorities to publish on their website
the proposed admission arrangements for any new
school or Academy which is intended to open within the
determination year, details of where the determined
arrangements for all schools, including Academies, can
be viewed, and information on how to refer objections to the Schools Adjudicator.
15 May 2016
Deadline for objections to the Schools Adjudicator.
30 June 2016
Deadline for local authorities to report to the Schools
Adjudicator on admission arrangements in their area.

them to compile composite prospectus.

Re: Latymer announced Admissions arrangements for Sep 2019
Perhaps I mixed up the dates. It seems 28 Feb is correct.
Re: Latymer announced Admissions arrangements for Sep 2019
28th is the deadline for determination - but it seems that 15th March is the deadline for sending to LA.
Presumably they would have to provide a copy on request after the 28th, but publishing before 15th March seems to meet the SAC requirements.....

Re: Latymer announced Admissions arrangements for Sep 2019
Interesting they have posted another English sample paper with a format that is closer to Highgate English papers than the previous paper?
Does this mean that they are going to hike the English paper this year which last year students found very easy compared to DAO and HBS? DG
