Good luck to everyone!
It has come around so quickly in the end
I'm nervous, but DS is taking it all in his stride.... maybe slightly worried about the comp
Fingers crossed for tomorrow

Yes ale it has come around very quickly. My thoughts are what will be, will be. That's what I keep saying to my DD.

No detail on content please as there is a backup day on Tuesday 11th September but how did it go for applicants?
Feedback was the admin ran smoothly. No reports of crying in any of the rooms. Very crowded in the hall for pickup after the sessions.
Don't discuss the CEM with anyone sitting SW Herts, it's the same paper. DG

Admin was very smooth! It was crowded in the halls but I didn't think that was a problem.
My DD really enjoyed the hangman before they started and in the break. There room got a bit carried away with it in the break and were late starting the 2nd test
Overall DD thought the exams went well. Time will tell!

Test was well organised. Seems that parents stressed more that children
My son met his old classmate there, that was a big relief for him as he didn't feel alone in the testroom.
And special thanks to the weather. Such a nice day!
Were the comprehension papers different for different groups? I didn't want to ask my son too much about it, but details that he has given to me divers too much from what my friend learnt from her son...

Everyone sits the same CEM, Maths and English.
I have identified the text but will not be discussing it until after the backup date. DG

You need to check with the school that it won't be used for late testers and then check with moderators before posting anything surely?Daogroupie wrote:Everyone sits the same CEM, Maths and English.

It will be interesting to see how the difficulty level compares to last year.
It definitely took a hike last year. DG
