You were very fortunate that they took the time and trouble to create three different English papers.

The English and Maths papers for the QE backup date will be the same. DG

Many areas use the same papers for all sittings. Buckinghamshire uses them for late sitters until next July.

I didn't mean to take anything away from the children who worked very hard for these exams. Good luck to all of them, no matter which day they sat exam. There are A few parents though who would use this opportunity to find out more about papers and without a doubt they would have a slight advantage comparing to children who sat the exam a week before, that's all... but again good luck to everyone

It is actually quite hard to remember VR and Maths questions.

Try it for yourself.

Look at a Maths or VR paper for ten minutes. Then close it and try and recreate one of the questions on blank paper.

So much easier with English. A few years ago QE had a non fiction comp on the Penny Farthing. Quite easy, knowing that, to read up about the Penny Farthing before going into the exam.

As for poetry, well, if you were told the name of the poem you could be quite an expert before the exam. DG
